Neither of us drink coffee regularly, but coffee always smells good when you go past a coffee shop. That was the inspiration for this ice cream: a coffee ice cream that captures the nuanced scent of ice cream without the bitterness. The lack of bitterness comes from following a cold press method: allowing the coffee beans to infuse in the base overnight in the fridge.
