This ice cream was created before I started tracking my ice creams.
Once a year, I make eggnog ice cream to celebrate the holidays. The first time I made this, I was struck by how much it tasted like eggnog due to both the eggs and freshly ground nutmeg. You certainly wouldn't want to make this with pre-ground nutmeg - it wouldn't do the ice cream justice.
