An Update on Our Ice Cream Adventures

An update on recent adventures of the Shoppe.

It has been a while since we have written about our ice cream adventures! We haven't forgotten how to make ice cream but rather we have been busy with our wedding. The Bollom Ice Cream Shoppe now officially has a new chef in the kitchen!

We served ice cream alongside cake at our wedding! As much as we would have liked to have made our own ice cream for our family and friends, we would have had to spend a lot of time making ice cream so we had Amy's Ice Cream (an Austin favorite) bring their ice cream and serve. It was a hit with everyone at our wedding.

We did decide to make some ice cream for our rehearsal dinner. The flavors were kept simple: Vanilla, Chocolate, and Lemon Crème Fraîche. These paired well with the cobbler that Mel's dad made.

And then it was a busy summer. Instead of writing about each of these individually, here are the photos. We'll catch up with our most recent ones soon!
